Two-position scriber

Two-position scriber

The 2-position scriber is a performance-oriented system that, when used, is put at the extremity of the layout machine arm to attach a scribing needle for marking and sensor for measurement. Compared with conventional types, this scriber is remarkably very easy to use.

90 degree horizontal and vertical turning can be made instantaneously by a shift dividing lever.

The lock knob has a feature that its swivel (vertical swing movement section) can be fixed at any arbitrary position for further improvement in performance.

Universal holder

The universal holder is an attachment most suitable for the measurement among the lineup of TTS attachments. The correct chuck at the extremity is 7.5 to 10 mm in diameter, with a universal capability of securely cramping any of our sensor-fixing shanks by the use of a dedicated tool. By this holder, it is possible to prevent swaying, a cause to loosen anchoring of the sensor.
There is a knob attached to the universal holder, and closing the knob makes it possible not only to keep the free posture of the sensor secured to the extremity, but also to promptly accommodate any change in posture to speed up the measurement.

By rotating two links of the free angle probe, it is possible to set the probe in any direction in the 90 degree conical angle.

The free-angle probe is capable of measurement from any angle without changing the coordinates of the layout machine, when measuring by the sensor and the measurement needle.
This arrangement allows removing origin presetting when changing the posture to attain further improvement in performance. Once origin presetting is made, measurement on almost all faces becomes possible. Precision restoring also is easy with the alignment tool.

Able to set the probe in any direction within the 90 degree conical direction by rotation of two links.

Easy to restore the precision with the adjustment tool.

Each driving section is made of special structure, and excellent in precision stability and anti-friction.

The probe, weighting approximately 950 (light weight), exerts almost no effect on the machine.

Even when the probe changes in posture, there is no need to do origin restoring.

Universal touch probe

The current practice is that the scribing needle and sensor are used to measure points on a 3 dimensional object of complex geometry, and that when using the scribing needle, each time the needle is replaced, it is necessary to remake origin resetting.
The advantage of this universal touch probe is that after the extremity point is turned 360 degrees, following a single origin resetting, it is possible to measure points on almost any surface.
The arm has a touch probe at the extremity that may contact points on the workpiece, not only vertically, but also laterally from the right and left.

Able to fix the touch probe at any angle over 360 degrees of rotation.

All driving sections, in the process of manufacture, are subject to tempering then polishing, so excellent in anti-friction.

The TP2 touch sensor at the extremity may touch a workpiece not only vertically, but also laterally from the left and right.

The weight of the touch probe is light, with negligible effect on the machine.

One-time origin resetting allows for the sensor to measure almost all surfaces of the workpieces.

The current practice is that various kinds of scribing needles are used to measure points on a 3 dimensional object of complex geometry, and that when using the scribing needle, each time the needle is replaced, it is necessary to remake origin resetting.
Use of this universal pointer, once origin resetting is made, allows measurement of almost all surfaces, leading to shortening measurement time and improving of measurement precision. Suitable for the measurement of clay models, wood molds, metallic molds, resins molds, plating and master models.

360 degrees turning is possible arbitrarily.

The touch needle being acute angle-shaped allows identifying any point correctly.

The touch needle is easy to replace, and precision recovery can be made simply.

Each driving section and inserting section are tempering and polishing-treated, and excellent in anti-friction.

The weight of the touch probe is light, with negligible effect on the machine.

CA-7 sensor (CA-7D sensor and CA-7F sensor)

CA-7 sensor

CA-7 sensor is an electric signaling probe for the digital processor-mounted layout machine: by making the needle point contact a workpiece, it is possible to retrieve the data of coordinates at this point.
Unlike other probes, CA-7 is able to make measurements with a smaller measurement pressure, with negligible measurement errors due to fluctuations in measurement pressure and no flaw on the workpiece.
Use of this model is recommendable for measurement of objects of soft material such as clay model (This image represents a CA-7 sensor.)

Since long, processing wood models, resin models, clay models and plaster models has been made manually. To solve this problem, this drill unit has been developed, and in use, is mounted on the top of the layout machine arm and designed to make light cutting at the correct position. The r.p.m. of the drill can be changed, and the drill's direction also can be changed easily and correctly (horizontally and vertically). This system uses a DC motor as driving system to ensure silent operation and focusing on safety concerns as well. Efficiency of processing work is the first priority that this system is aimed at.

The drill unit is designed for point processing of wood models, resign models, clay models and plaster models.

The drill's r.p.m. being of shift type, the speed range can be tailored for a workpiece.

Position change can be made simply 90 degrees both horizontally and vertically.

No special attachment to your layout machine, when using this drill unit.

MIH-S

This is a probe head dedicated to manual layout machines with a positing system of a 7.5 degrees unit step, for the range 0 to 105 around the A aix and +/- 180 degrees around the B axis. Each angle is given on LDC, and in addition, angle information from RS232 C is recognized by the calculation and display system (Laymatic-MEGA2) so that the coordinates may be changed automatically according to posture variation of the probe.
Registering the correction value of each angle to the reference sphere eliminates the necessity of making re-correction of the reference sphere after angle change of the probe, and it is possible to simplify the measurement procedure and to significantly shorten measurement time.

KIT5

KIT No5R, a miniature universal type touch probe, is capable of emitting signals with small measurement power. With a conventional touch probe, it is difficult to measure sizes of a thin-walled or small-gapped part, but KIT5 may easily and accurately handle these objects. Even when contacting a probe with the workpiece at regular speeds, dynamic measurement is used for memorizing custom workplaces, which allows a further improvement in performance.

The ball at the measurement element probe, even when traveling in any direction from the fix position, may emit a signal. If contacting the work piece is released, it returns to the original position.

Dynamic measurement allows shortening the work time span.

The measurement speed is rapid, 100mm/second, and has a stabilized performance in repetitive measurement.

KIT No5R, a miniature universal type touch probe, is very suitable especially for the measurement of complex positions (insides of holes and casings) of a workpiece.
